The gulf had zero visibility and we did not capture something there on hook and line. We caught two legal lobsters in excess of in Tripod – the only place in the gulf that had any visibility. Tons of brief lobsters. The h2o was a frigid 64 degrees. Our past day the weather conditions turned great and the visibility on the reef was awesome – most effective I have ever found and the h2o temp was 76. We shot a great black grouper. by the way, we saw a lot of 5 to 10 lb hogfish. We also caught a couple of modest Mahi – 5 lbs or so – in 450 to 600 feet.
